Dr. Shanda Bourne-Price

Dr. Shanda Bourne-Price was named Director of Health Administration and 教育 in October 2021. She oversees the HAE B.S., M.S., and 博士学位程序s. Dr. Bourne-Price has over 20 years in healthcare, working at various 医院 in many clinical areas. Her background includes Medical/Surgical Nursing, 遥测, Mother/Baby (Post-Partum), 专业护理, 和LTAC.

After one year as an Adjunct Clinical 教师 member at William Carey University, Dr. Bourne-Price accepted a Full-time position in 2017. She has taught Assessment and Health Promotion and Gerontology on the undergraduate level as well as courses in the RN-BSN 程序 and the HAE M.S. 程序.

Dr. Bourne-Price is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association and serves on the Advisory Council for The National Diabetes & Obesity Research Institute in their Diabetes Self-Management 教育 and Support Program. She is also a 教师 Advisor for the William Carey University Student Nurses Association.
